Classification of foot type from podography: correlation of results between six quantitative assessment methods

Objective: Apply the different methods available in literature to classify a sample of podography and evaluate level agreement between results. Methods: Six quantitative one qualitative method foot type from were recorded on 30 feet. The indexes calculated, was explored. Results: Correlation values above r = 0.84 except for test arch footprint angle. highest correlation found truncated index (0.99), (-0.94), lowest angle with other parameters. However, there difference classification types, indicating lack thresholds types. Qualitative visual inspection faster type.Conclusion: fastest apply, followed by test.
